May 9, 2026, Sharjah—To deepen team cohesion and integrate the strengths of employees from diverse cultural backgrounds, Haiwan Properties organized all staff members for a themed team building activity in Sharjah, the UAE’s "Cultural Capital," yesterday. Centered around "Cultural Exploration & Team Synergy," the event not only allowed employees to relax amidst the blend of history and nature but also strengthened their communication and collaboration skills in international business scenarios through cross-cultural tasks.
The first stop was the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, where employees, guided by docents, explored Islamic art, astronomy, and trade history in groups via a "Cultural Scavenger Hunt." Each team had to complete challenges within a set time, such as "Finding Ancient Silk Road Trade Certificates" and "Interpreting the Scientific Wisdom Behind Astronomical Instruments." Through the process, members divided tasks, exchanged insights, deepened their understanding of local UAE culture, and honed cross-cultural communication skills. Later, the team held a "Sand Painting Co-Creation" activity by Khalid Lagoon, using colored sand to jointly paint a giant ship pattern symbolizing Haiwan Properties’ role in connecting Chinese and Arab markets under the theme "Global Vision of Haiwan Properties," creating a lively and warm atmosphere.
In the afternoon, the team headed to the Sharjah Desert Reserve for a "Desert Collaboration Challenge." Under the guidance of professional coaches, employees completed segments including "Desert Orienteering," "Camel Riding Collaboration," and "Team Reflection Under the Stars." The "Desert Orienteering" required groups to find hidden "Cultural Clue Cards" in the desert using maps and compasses, with clues covering Sharjah’s historical landmarks and Haiwan Properties’ business keywords. Through collaboration, employees not only enjoyed the thrill of desert exploration but also subconsciously deepened their understanding of the company’s business layout. In the evening, the team gathered around a campfire in the desert camp, sharing work insights and cultural stories. Employees from different countries sang songs together in Chinese, Arabic, and English, bridging distances with laughter and joy.
Haiwan Properties’ HR Director stated during the event: "As the UAE’s cultural hub, Sharjah’s and inclusive atmosphere aligns closely with Haiwan Properties’ corporate philosophy of ‘Connecting the Globe, Respecting Diversity.’ This team building not only enhanced team trust in a relaxed atmosphere but also strengthened employees’ collaborative awareness in cross-cultural business scenarios through cultural exploration tasks." Moving forward, Haiwan Properties will continue to build an international team with both cultural inclusivity and business competitiveness through diverse team activities, infusing deeper cultural depth into serving global clients.
